The Electric Guitar Collection Vol.2 is a sample 3-CD set of a Fender® Custom Shop American Stratocaster™ electric guitar, recorded through a Fender® Deluxe™ tube amp. It contains single-note samples of the typical Stratocaster™ blues clean sound (neck pickup, used on "Hey Joe" by Jimi Hendrix or "Scar Tissue" by Red Hot Chili Peppers, for example). Chromatically sampled over more than 3 octaves, every semi-tone is available in 32 velocities, so you have 32 different samples of each note`s dynamic range. The set includes ready-to-play presets for Steinberg`s® HAlion™ which are compatible with Native Instruments® Kontakt™. The files itself are wave files that can also be used with any other software sampler. The sounds were recorded with a Universal Audio® 2-610™ tube mic preamp in real 24 bit quality through RME® converters and were very carefully processed with high quality TC® DSP-hardware to give them a very good basic sound, and in contrast to many other sample CDs, they come without a final mastering, so they will fit easier into your musical surroundings and will not sound over-processed when your recordings will go through the mastering process.
